用於電源線(Power-Supply Cords)的美規插頭片(Attachment Plug Blades)單體並不一定要申請 UL 安規。

依 UL 1659 美規 UL 插頭片規範，若採「壓接 (crimped connections)」方式連接電線的插頭片單體才需申請 UL 安規驗證。
