電氣絕緣系統 (Electrical Insulation System; EIS) 簡稱「絕緣系統」。

依UL 1446 美規絕緣材料系統之規範，絕緣系統是指用於電氣產品中兩個或兩個以上的絕緣材料(insulating materials) 的組合。

按 UL 1004-1 美規旋轉電機之規範，當絕緣系統所使用之材料為 Class E 或更高等級 (如 Class B, Class F…) 時，該絕緣系統需為 UL 1446 認證之絕緣系統
